So, LJ peeps... I realize I haven't been writing a lot of blogs for public or semi-public consumption lately. I have been doing a lot of private blogging so I can work through the chaos and change in my life without seeming like the world's biggest Eeyore ("Oh... woe is me... life is sooo terrible.") especially when life really isn't so bad.
Anyway...
I have been thinking about the relationships I have with people. I have blood family, chosen family, SCA people, officers, coworkers, non-SCA friends, and people I interact with here and there.
So my question to myself is: What are the characteristics that are most important in the people I interact with, and what do I do if the other person doesn't have those characteristics? And should it change depending on the category of relationship I have with the person?
There are a few particular situations that are vexing me at the moment and I am trying to decide what to do.
I would be interested to hear thoughts on this if anyone cares to share. c
