 So, I really, honestly don't normally watch American Idol.   Honest.  I usually watch the audition episodes because they are damn funny, but really I don't watch the other ones.  

This is a young man by the name of David Archuleta who is a high school student, and is doing quite well on the show. I drive by his school every day on the way to and from work if I don't get on the freeway, and there are all sorts of signs that say "We love our Idol" and similar goopiness. And every newscaster, talk radio host, etc, talks about him on Wed. morning.  It seems like anytime someone from the state of Utah does anything that is cool or good, many other Utahns act like they are the person's  best buddy or lifelong friend...Well, he's not bad, but it's still American Idol.  

But what I really want to watch is 

Hell's Kitchen

which is on next. 

EDIT:  There still doesn't seem to be a favorite, but I am glad they voted one of the clueless chicks off the show.  :P

I have really gotten into watching the various Gordon Ramsey shows. I haven't seen Hell's Kitchen yet, but love the Kitchen Nightmare. Now, all B and I have to do is go over to the UK/Europe and go visit some of the restaurants. I find it amusing that sh!t is not bleeped, but the f-word is. Such different standards.

As for American Idol - never seen it never want to!
