Good day and interesting (to me) news

dametheadee Got up early, finished organizing my beads at home. Went to work, got a TON of stuff done that I needed to do. Went to the doctor - weight was up slightly from last visit, but not too bad. My good cholesterol was a little low, and my bad cholesterol was a wee bit high, but my blood pressure was good even though I was taken off the Lisinopril at my visit a month ago. I NEED to get off my butt and EXERCISE!!! My anemia is also improving. Thank goodness. It was scarybad at the last blood draw.
After my doctor visit, I went to the grocery store to get in on the last day of cheap soda 12 packs. While I was there, I realized I had this huge envelope of manufacturer coupons, so I got a bunch of groceries. I ended up saving more than I spent and just need to hit the Sunflower Farmer's market for fresh fruit and veggies to supplement. This csupply should last a few weeks. I also have been getting great deals on ebay for things I have been wanting to get to finish some projects. Much cheaper than retail. I love the search function that allows you to limit your search to items with free shipping, or within a specific price range.
I also reserved the banquet room at Golden Corral for Saturday from 5:30 - 8pm for the dinner after Sean's fighting clinic. I made arrangements to get the scroll blank to Flora's on Thursday. And last night while I was at Sean and Christina's, we made camping reservations at Rockport State Park for the birthday weekend in July (the weekend closest to Q's birthday, which is also a convenient proximity to Taber's and Sean's birthday, as well). A non-SCA weekend!! If you are interested in joining us send me a private message and I will give you the details so you can get an adjacent campsite. I have been contemplating my classes for Sport of Kings (which ones I might want to teach) so I can get that done. Camping, food and most of the travel arrangements for Uprising are done. Just need to finalize details of Taber driving Sean's truck up there but we have time to get that worked out.

NCIS LOS ANGELES!!! A new show coming in the fall! I found this blurb on www.cinemablend.com
Among the series picked up by CBS and included on their fall 2009 lineup is NCIS: Los Angeles. Not to be confused by the original and still chugging along, NCIS. Set to air on Tuesday nights, the drama series will follow the world of undercover surveillance at the Office of Special Projects based in L.A.
(there's more on the link if you are interested!!) Could be good - Chris O'Donnell and LL Cool J. We'll see.
All in all, life continues to be made of more win, less fail. Yay!!!
