yesterday and today
Jan. 6th, 2009 07:07 amyesterday:
hubby's paycheck was bigger than we thought so I got to go get two desperately needed new tires on the car. no more slip-sliding-away on the ice. hubby and I had a big discussion about whether or not we can afford for him to take 7 unpaid work days to go to Estrella. work said they will give him time without pay, but the bills still need to get paid. there would be an option for him to fly down mid week, but that makes him grumpy. i told him if we can double up on car payment this month and we don't spend a lot of extra money, we can maybe make it work. i still have my portion of my hospital visit to pay for, too. that is only $325-ish dollars on a $10K bill so I am not complaining, but I want to make sure i take care of it. no more collections, please
car transmission is acting a little squirrly so I am going to take it to jiffy lube today to see if that will help. it needs an oil and lube job anyway so i will do that first. that and get the rock chip in the windshield fixed before it turns into a big crack.
work stuff is mounting. I also have precedence stuff to enter for the doomsday, and the pile of fabric is looming. i keep hoping it will make itself into garb and other clothing. it's not working. So what am I doing?? sitting on the computer instead of getting ready for work. i guess I had better get going.
oh, and did i mention severe lack of sleep??? grrr...
hope you are having a warmer better happier day than i am.

Date: 2009-01-06 05:09 pm (UTC)I have found that viciously attacking fabric while weilding scissors is the best way to force it to make itself into clothing.
Keep warm!
Get sleep!
