Disappointed

dametheadeeI just heard on the news that the International Olympic Organizing Committee is considering stopping the international portion of the Olympic torch relay because of the protests. Without getting into what I think about Tibet and China, I will say I am disappointed. I see the torch relay and the Olympics themselves as an opportunity for people to put aside their differences and compete in one of the purest competitions left in sports.
