dametheadeeI was sitting in my dining area surfing the web and watching TV about 2 hours ago when I heard the unmistakable sound of military aircraft flying overhead. I went out the front door of my apartment and this is what I saw.
It's Air Force Week in Utah. They were doing a flyover of a baseball game, and spent nearly 1/2 hour making circles around the Salt Lake Valley. Complete with low flying high speed passes as well as more leisurely ones where they flew with the Wasatch Mountains as a backdrop.
I love airplanes in general and fighter jets in particular. This was an unexpected treat for a Monday evening. About an hour later, the thunderstorm began, bringing a whole different kind of noise to the outdoors.
