Committing Insanity...
Yes, it really is 4:20 in the morning. I have not been to sleep yet. "Why?", you may ask? Well, you see, I went to Costco at 7pm and bought 540 large eggs to be neatly blended with cheese and milk and salt and pepper (and some with crumbled bacon) to make scrambled eggs that will be frozen uncooked, vacuum sealed with a seal-a-meal, put on dry ice in a cooler, and taken to Estrella War for the Kingdom breakfast.
Why me? Because I volunteer.
I finally got enough of the eggs done and in the freezer, and the rest of the unprepped eggs and other goodies in the fridge, so I could stop. I have prepped over half of them.
So, why do I committ such insanity?
Because I want people to be able to come together to have a hopefully extra-cool moment while they are at the War. It is not important to me that people know I stayed up almost all night prepping eggs. It is important to me to try to build a sense of community among the Artemisians that go to Estrella.
There are nearly 300 people registered to camp. I am hoping we will have a decent showing.
I am excited about the War this year. I think things are going to be amazingly good.
Sleep time, now. More about eggs later.
